Recreating the main premise of the popular harem rom-com, Rent-a-Girlfriend, Yu-Gi-Oh! players used real-life girl rental services.
Twitter user @DeltyThe73rd described the situation in detail on their page. According to their post, Yu-Gi-Oh! players used the service in a desperate attempt to find an opponent. Players seem to prefer the girl to appear, as they request the same girl for each subsequent session. After a few lessons, the girl created a personalized deck for the games herself.
