Unfortunately, however, the reprint tags have many misprints, including parts appearing in different languages, much to the dismay of many fans and consumers. Furthermore, the celebratory re-releases are mainly for the more recent additions to the official trading card game. While the 25th Anniversary Legend Collection will contain six classic booster packs, many are hoping to reissue even older cards.
Takahashi’s story centers on high school student Yugi Muto, who lives in a game store with his grandfather. After completing the Millennium Puzzle, he awakens the long-dormant spirit of the magical item, who is eventually revealed to be a powerful Egyptian Pharaoh. Working together, the duo master the card game Monster Duel, defeat other skilled fighters, uncover the secrets of the Pharaoh’s past, and save the world many times over.
