Shonen Jump’s My Hero Academia Creator Translation The comment was unintentionally funny
Shonen Jump’s English translation of Kohei Horikoshi’s comments turned the My Hero Academia author’s words into something more lecherous than intended.
The trailer reveals that MHA creator Kohei Horikoshi oversaw the entire project and came up with original character sketches. The film is directed by Tensai Okumura (Blue Exorcist Season 1, The Seven Deadly Sins, Naruto movie 1). The script and character designs were done by series regulars Yosuke Kuroda and Yoshihiko Umakoshi, respectively. The music was handled by Yuki Hayashi, while Kenji Nagasaki was appointed as animation consultant.
While plot details remain unclear, this new mysterious All Might states that he will inherit All Might’s vision, forcing the heroes into another fierce battle. Horikoshi previously said that the film “will take place in a collapsed society.” The new image follows the Class 1-A image promoting the upcoming Season 7, which is scheduled to release in April 2024 with four episode recaps. Season 7 will officially begin with new anime content on May 5. You can check out the newly released visuals for the season below.
