Kibō no Chikara ~Otona Precure 23~ (Power of Hope ~Grown-Up Precure 23~) has cast Yōko Hikasa as the original character Bell in the upcoming Precure anime series.
The Precure series has revealed this through its official website. Yōko Hikasa will play Bell, a mysterious entity possessing black wings and a strange aura. Yunko Sanpei will return to reprise the role of Nozomi Yumehara, Mariya Ise as Urara Kasugano and Ai Nagano as Komachi Akimoto. Ai Maeda and Eri Sendai also return to voice Karen Minatsuki and Kurumi Mimino, respectively. Junko Takeuchi (Yes! Precure 5, Yes! Precure 5 GoGo!) as Rin Natsuki, Atsuko Enomoto (Futari wa Precure Splash Star) as Mai Mishou, and Orie Kimoto (Futari wa Precure Splash Star) will join the cast .
Takayuki Hamana (Sorvious Stabber Orphen, Prince of Tennis) will direct the film Kibō no Chikara ~Otona Precure 23~ produced by Toei Animation. Yoshimi Narita, a veteran of the Precure series and movies, is writing the series, while Atsuko Nakajima (Ranma ½, Komi Can’t Communication) is designing the characters. Naoki Satō is in charge of the anime series’ music, having previously worked on several Precure franchise entries.
A new Precure movie is coming out next year
The Precure franchise will release a new movie in 2024. The official announcement was made at the end of the latest movie, Eiga Precure All Stars F (also known as Pretty Cure All Stars F). The film marks the 14th installment in the All Stars crossover event, as well as the 20th anniversary of the Precure series, which began in 2004 with the anime series Futari wa Pretty Cure. Details about the upcoming Precure movie have yet to be announced, with no information currently available on production or casting.
The first Precure All-Stars movie premiered 14 years ago and the series has become an annual event since then, only failing to make it in 2021 and 2022. Eiga Precure All Stars F, the series successful movie Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure, is the newest film in the franchise and features a notable cast featuring all 77 magical girls throughout the series’ entire history, including the first installment, Futari wa Pretty Cure. Next year’s entries will continue the Precure film legacy.
Kibō no Chikara ~Otona Precure 23~ (Power of Hope ~Grown-Up Precure 23~) will premiere on NHK Educational on October 7, 2023.
