YOASOBI has revealed the music video for the song “Undead,” the ending theme song for Monogatari: Off Season & Monster Season. The music video features characters and artwork from the anime series. Toshitaka Shinoda (from Ijigen Tokyo) directed the music video with Shu Horiuchi (.MP) serving as art director.

YOASOBI's Yayase is responsible for the music, lyrics, and arrangements for “The Walking Dead.” In addition to lead vocalist Ikura, the video's credits list background choir singers Haley Lewis, Missy Suzki, Leona Ortiz, Dylan Ortiz, and Jonas Whitaker. Konnie Aoki is credited for their lyrics.
The song was released on July 1, 2024. The latest season of Monogatari premiered a week later, on July 7. The song was initially announced as one of the theme songs, but it was later revealed that it would be the ending theme. The opening theme “Caramel Ribbon Cursetard” is performed by Kana Hanazawa and Saori Hayami, who voice Nadeko Sengoku and Yotsugi Ononoki.
YOASOBI is known to anime fans for their theme songs for shows like Oshi no Ko, BEASTARS, and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. The duo consists of producer Ayumu and singer-songwriter Ikura.
