Review of Yakuza Fiancé Episode 5: Today's episode of Yakuza Fiancé or Raise wa Tanin ga Ii (来世は他人がいい) was mysterious and funny. Let's see how this episode plays out.
Yakuza Fiancé episode 4 summary
Kirishima's darker, more twisted side gradually emerges as he begins to reveal his true nature. He casually reveals himself to Shoma without giving any explanation as to how he followed both him and Yoshino. Realizing something was wrong with Kirishima, Shoma confronted him without hesitation, even urging Yoshino to leave with him when he discovered that Kirishima had been following her by copying her phone. .
A short argument followed. Kirishima sees Shoma as an “outsider,” but Yoshino quickly puts him in his place, standing up for her friend and calling Kirishima a true outsider. Kirishima, surprisingly, accepted her criticism and quickly apologized for his rudeness. However, his disturbing behavior only deepens from this point on, as he begins to act oddly like he did when Yoshino first arrived in Tokyo.
Yoshino becomes increasingly aware of the threatening atmosphere from Kirishima, even after Shoma leaves, and she decides to confront him. Ironically, jealousy seems to be the root cause of his strange actions.
Kirishima then revealed his skewed views, casually telling Yoshino that he wouldn't mind if she cheated on him because he liked “NTR”. However, he has one difference: unlike his previous partners, he wants Yoshino to communicate with others right in front of him. His plan? To get rid of any men she had a relationship with afterward.
Yakuza Fiancé Episode 5 Review
The episode opens with Yoshino finally waking up from her fever. Immediately, she noticed that Kirishima took good care of her, even staying up all night. When asked what he did to keep her so close to him, he replied that he wanted to protect her if any of his enemies came to kill her. Apparently, now that he's fallen in love with Yoshino, the best way to get revenge on him is to kill her.
With their interactions, you can understand how obsessed Kirishima was with Yoshino. He couldn't even think for a moment that she would be vulnerable without him. But their situation will become much more interesting when a very important visitor arrives in Tokyo. Because Renji, Yoshino's grandfather, had many mistresses, he also had a niece from the same father and mother. She is none other than Tsubaki, lives in Kyoto and is very close to her cousin Yoshino.
Tsubaki is a fascinating character because she is everything Kirishima loves in a girl. She's beautiful, rich, spoiled, and has the ability to mess with Kirishima, just like he wanted when Yoshino first arrived. Not only that, she is also the type of person who has many lovers without being tied down to a single person like Kirishima. And the moment these two interact, you can tell that she's just as squirmy as he is.
On the surface, they get along very well, but later on, you'll understand the reason behind it. Both Tsubaki and Kirishima understand each other's wisdom and acknowledge each other's strength. Kirishima knew how much Yoshino trusted Tsubaki, and Tsubaki understood how much Kirishima loved Yoshino, thus forming a close friendship between them. However, Tsubaki makes it clear that if Kirishima harms Yoshino, she will do everything in her power to remove him from her beloved cousin's life.
Verdict
I liked today's episode where we met a mysterious character. Tsubaki is literally the female version of Kirishima, and it's interesting to see our hero interact with someone who can pick up on all his lies and manipulations. We finally understand the mystery behind Yoshino selling her kidney.
