Like many games with Soulslike elements, boss battles in Black Myth: Wukong are always considered the highlight and main attraction.
Black Myth: Wukong brings more than 80 different bosses, both main and secondary, and each name has its own strengths and characteristics, and the most prominent of which is Wandering Wight – an optional boss but causes a lot of discomfort and has also defeated many players in the early stages of the game.
However, it seems that similar to Elden Ring, it didn't take long for gamers to find a way to make the game “easier” despite being initially considered difficult beyond imagination. Typically, just recently, a gamer shared a scene of himself torturing Wandering Wight, taking revenge for the difficulties this boss had caused before. More notably, this guy defeated the boss with just one hit.
The clip was then shared at a dizzying speed on Black Myth: Wukong groups and received countless mixed opinions.
It's easy to see that the gamer did this in New Game Plus mode when receiving significant damage from the transformation through Spirits, in addition to countless damage buffs, using “fancy” weapons that are completely different from Wukong in the early game. This leads to many opinions that upgrading the character to almost “max” and then returning to defeat Wandering Wight with just one hit is not something too much to discuss.
With Black Myth: Wukong selling 10 million copies in its first few days, it's safe to say the game has been a huge success. It will be interesting to see what GameScience does with the sequel, given the relatively open ending.
