If you were to find a game with the highest investment cost and development time in the world of gaming, it would certainly not be difficult for everyone to “aim” at Star Citizen. First announced in 2012, this ambitious project has gone through many calls for capital from the community to have production funding. Initially, the number was only over 2 million dollars, but up to the time of the most recent announcement, the amount of funding that Star Citizen has raised has reached over 670 million dollars (about 17,000 billion VND) – an extremely “super huge” number.
But more importantly, Star Citizen has yet to officially launch its 1.0 version. Everything is still just at the trial level and this makes many people feel confused, even thinking that this project will never actually appear. For those who do not know, Star Citizen is a multiplayer game in the space simulation genre. And in the latest information, from now until July 19, gamers will be able to fly for free whenever they want, trying out one of 10 different spaceships in the Sandbox of developer Cloud Imperium.
In addition, those who participate in the tutorial event will receive some free gifts and rewards. However, gamers may need to pay attention to the configuration of the machine because although Star Citizen recommends 16GB RAM configuration, players may need to upgrade to at least 32GB to have the smoothest experience.
According to developer director Chris Roberts earlier this year, Star Citizen is finally approaching the 1.0 finish line and will likely see another Pyro release later this year.
