Ascendance of a Bookworm Part 3: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke was officially adapted into an anime by WIT Studio. It was announced on TO BOOKS’ official X account (formerly Twitter), and you can see an illustration of the announcement below:
Volume 8 is the first volume that begins Part 3 of the novel and is described: After a disastrous encounter with a noble, Myne finally decides to say goodbye to her family and friends in the city lower, changed her name to “Rozemyne” and began a new life as the adopted daughter of grand duke Ehrenfest. However, her days as a great noble in aristocratic society were brutal, as she had to undergo rigorous magical and ritual training in addition to her duties as as Supreme Bishop and governor. It all proved to be too much for a weak seven-year-old girl… Or it would have been, if the High Priest hadn’t given her the key to the temple’s study room as a reward. If she gets those, she will be able to read all kinds of precious books! Her name may have changed, but Rozemyne’s passion for books remains the same as she enters a whole new world! The anime’s first season aired in 2019, followed by a second season in 2020 and a third season in 2022. Two 15-minute unaired episodes debuted alongside the 22nd limited edition volume of the book. light novel Ascendance of a Bookworm in 2020. Studio Ajia- has animated the adaptation to date.
