In the new episode of the Dragon Ball Daima anime, the adventure is quite interesting, as Goku and the Z warriors face new threats from the great demon world. However, fans quickly noticed and easily realized that Gohan has not appeared in any of the released Daima episodes.
Dragon Ball Daima's timeline is set immediately after the battle with Majin Buu. So, if we look at it chronologically, the last thing we see of Gohan is when he raised his hand to transfer energy to Goku while performing the Genkidama to destroy Buu.
Additionally, one of the first appearances of Degesu – the brother of Supreme Kaiosama – in the Dragon Ball Daima trailer, caused fans to confuse him with Gohan. The reason is that it coincides with the color of the suit that Goku's son wears in the Saiyan part.
After fans learned that the image belonged to a villain, suspicions grew about the young Saiyan's whereabouts.
The mystery of Gohan in Dragon Ball Daima
The most optimistic fans of Akira Toriyama's greatest work think they are waiting for a transcendent event to occur, at its climax, to introduce the young Saiyan. Let's remember that at this point Gohan is very well trained, as he has just achieved the ultimate transformation.
Fans base this argument on the fact that Gohan has never appeared in anything. Gohan is not in the promotional images, opening or ending videos. The only thing containing Gohan is the summary of Dragon Ball's story. So take this as Toei Animation is preparing us for a special appearance.
Dragon Ball fans don't get your hopes up too much
At this stage in the series, Gohan has just married Videl and he is focusing on his studies. So, production will probably show the young Saiyan gathering in his research office, and he may not even realize that he has been transformed into a boy.
