The upcoming TV anime Why Does None Remember Me in This World, also known as Naze Boku no Sekai o Dare mo Oboeteinai no ka? in the Japanese title, the teaser image was revealed. The anime will adapt Why Does No One Remember Me in This World? The light novel is written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Neco. The light novel was serialized under Kadokawa’s MF Bunko J imprint from 2017 to 2020. Arikan’s manga adaptation has been serialized in Monthly Comic Alive since 2018. BookWalker is distributing the manga online.
Kadokawa describes the plot as follows: The war between the five races on earth – humans, “Demons”, “Wild Gods”, “Souls” and “Demons” – ended in war. Victory belongs to humans. . It is said that “Prophet Sid” sealed the remaining four races in the black pyramid that are now known as “Crypts”. Kai’s job is to watch over the catacombs and make sure nothing changes. He is also training to save humans when other races break the seal and return to this world. Today the catacombs seemed quiet…but after Kai felt the world collapsing before his eyes…everything changed. “World Rebirth” has been activated…!! Now Kai is in a completely different world where no one knows him. But he misses everyone!
The original author, Kei Sazane, is also known for the Our Last Crusade series or the Rise of a New World and God’s Game We Play.
