Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular modern Shonen series that fans have witnessed in the past few years. The series gained popularity after being adapted into an anime. The action in this series is spectacular, which when combined with some excellent characters, makes Jujutsu Kaisen the excellent story that it is.
However, Jujutsu Kaisen still has obvious weaknesses, one of which is the way it handles the series' main trio of characters, including Yuji, Megumi and Nobara. This trio had a lot of potential, but was “slaughtered” by the author and became the worst trio fans have ever seen in any shonen anime or manga.
The beginning of the trio and their potential

The beginning of the trio of Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara is definitely awesome. Fans saw these three meet in the first few episodes of the series. After that, they formed a cherished team relationship. Although Yuji and Megumi don't get along at first, they eventually grow closer. Megumi begins to put her trust in Yuji and vice versa.
Likewise, Nobara was less than enthusiastic about getting to know Yuju, she eventually began to enjoy his presence and they formed a trio that shounen fans often enjoy watching. By the middle of season 1, it was clear to fans that they had become extremely good friends. They eat together, train together, and stand together in battle.
The trio of Yuji, Megumi and Nobara created a perfect anime trilogy and each character received a lot of attention. However, as the story progresses, the focus that was once on all three of these characters begins to focus on Yuji. Yuji is the main character so of course he will always get the most attention, there's no problem with that. The problem lies in how the author handles the remaining two characters. At the same time, the entire dynamic of this trio is the root cause of the problem.
Nobara's death

Nobara suffered an extremely terrible fate during the Shibuya incident, even though she didn't even participate much in that event.
Although Nobara played her role, for a main character like her, there should have been more acting space. The Shibuya incident was also her final battle.
Luckily, towards the end of the season, she got a bigger role, however, little did fans know that this would be her last role. Nobara confronts Mahito in battle, and is also a natural rival to Mahito's abilities like Yuji. And then she was quickly and unfortunately removed from the story.
Since then, she hasn't appeared anymore, JJK hasn't even completed the halfway mark. Having a main character like Nobara completely wiped out makes all the investment fans had in her, as well as all the potential she had to offer, go to waste.
What's worse is the possibility that Nobara is actually alive. Of course, many fans would want to see her return and it would certainly be interesting if she did. However, one needs to consider the fact that JJK has almost come to an end. The author previously confirmed that the series will end in 2024, which means that even if Nobara does return, she'll be out of the series for more than half of the time. There is no role she could play and no character progression she could show in the series.
The entire journey of Nobara's character seems to have come to an end, as the author previously confirmed that the series will end in 2024. Overall, she has gone from one of the most prominent characters to an individual. normal person.
The fate of Megumi Fushiguro

Although Megumi receives more attention than Nobara, his story is somewhat similar. Megumi plays an important role in the Shibuya arc and later in the Culling arc. However, in the end, his body was taken over by Sukuna and since then, fans haven't seen anything from him.
It's been quite a while since Megumi was absent from the story, just like Nobara, he won't play much of a role even if he returns at the end of the story. Megumi has always been known to have great potential, however now he won't even have the time to develop it. That simply means that everything fans have learned about him over the years is meaningless information.
In short, the trio of Yuji, Megumi and Nobara rarely work together, especially later on, which is really a pity. Everything about them, from their teamwork to their interactions outside of battle, is almost exclusively in the beginning. Looking back at them, this is one area where the author certainly failed miserably.
