Samehada is a pretty famous sword in the Naruto ninja world. This sword is also known as the “Shark Sword”. This sword is interesting in that it is a living, sword-shaped creature with a consciousness of its own. If it accidentally falls into the hands of an opponent, this precious sword has the right to “reject” its owner and reverse its use, making it one of the most difficult weapons to use in the ninja world.
Samehada was first seen in the hands of the First Mizukage and was passed on to later generations of the Blood Mist. Over time, the sword fell into the hands of Hozuki, Fuguki, Kisame and finally Killer Bee of Cloud Village.
However, the one who truly understood and could perfectly control Samehada was only Kisame. When the two are fused, Kisame is compared to a tailless tailed beast with endless chakra that never runs out.
Despite this good relationship, the sword Samehada ended up betraying Kisame to follow Killer Bee. But why did that happen?
Samehada though likes Kisame, but there is one thing he likes much more, which is chakra. Killer Bee is a jinchuriki, which means he has an extremely rich chakra reserve. Therefore, when Samehada faced the man of Cloud, it realized this and with the desire to suck a lot of chakra from the Tailed Beast, it chose to follow Killer Bee.
During Kisame’s first battle with Killer Bee, Samehada was intrigued by Bee’s distinctive chakra flavor and betrayed Kisame. However, after Kisame’s departure, Samehada mourned him. This shows that the sword really likes Kisame.
