Jujutsu Kaisen impressed the world, becoming the standout anime of the 2020s. Now that the Shibuya Incident Arc is over, when can you expect Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3?
Perhaps magic isn't quite the right word, since Jujutsu Kaisen is primarily about dark magic. The curse is perhaps more suitable for anime since its presence is already widespread.
With millions of people around the world currently watching Yuji Itadori and his fellow Jujutsu Mages in their fight against the evil Sukuna, this is by far one of the biggest and best anime.

Yuji with Maki and Toge in the back
MAPPA announced an adaptation of the Killing Game Season shortly after Season 2 ended.

First trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Part 3 was released in December 2023, including several character images from the manga, along with confirmation of the Kill Game Arc.

Another full trailer won't appear until closer to the release date. We expect new footage to arrive in the second half of 2024 at the earliest.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Revealed: What is the killing game part about?
In the Killing Game, jujutsu sorcerers are pitted against each other by Kenjaku as part of a ritual to create a massive amount of cursed energy to unite the Japanese population with Master Tengen.
Yuji and his friends must compete to save a fellow student, pushing them deeper into the plot before they can stop it.
It's an action-packed storyline that gives MAPPA plenty of opportunities to create more brilliant fight scenes and sequences. The scale and number of characters will be a challenge for the studio, but it's nothing they can't overcome based on previous results — even if we get the best Blu-ray version yet.
