Koyoharu Gotouge's fantasy action manga Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the biggest names in the modern shounen genre and is the youngest title on Weekly Shonen Jump's bestseller list with sales of 150 million copies. .
Osamu Akimoto's classic comedy manga Kochikame has sold more than 157 million copies and is in 5th place. Following another classic, Takehiko Inoue's popular sports manga Slam Dunk has sold 170 million copies.
In third place is Masashi Kishimoto's masterpiece Naruto which has sold 250 million copies worldwide. The late author Akira Toriyama paved the way for other shounen titles with his hugely popular and genre-defining work Dragon Ball, which sold 300 million copies and started an ever-growing franchise.
The manga with the biggest sales in Weekly Shonen Jump history is none other than One Piece. Eiichiro Oda's work has broken all kinds of records in its 27 years of operation and will surely break even more in the future. Since its debut in the magazine, One Piece has broken the record of selling 516,566,000 copies, becoming the best-selling manga in Weekly Shonen Jump.
