Azuki and Dentsu premiered the first season of the Enter the Garden anime anthology, The Wait Man, produced by Code Geass and One Piece Film: Red, directed by Goro Taniguchi and directed by More Than a Married's Junichi. Couple, But Not Lovers. Yamamoto.
The first part of Enter the Garden, The Wait Man, was released on April 30, 2024, with Yamamoto as director and Taniguchi as creative producer. According to a press release, the eight-minute episode features notable voice actors, including Akari Kito (Demon Slayer's Nezuko) as Haru, and Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata's Gintama) as the voice of Haru. voices TK and Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch in Code Geass) also stars. Taniguchi is the creative producer of the entire Enter the Garden anime anthology, following his recent Bloody Escape anime film and returns as producer for the new Code Geass series: Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture, was officially released last month. This film was recently highlighted by Disney Plus animation director Takuto Yahata when he also revealed that the platform is only halfway to his ambitions. Code Geass comes to Disney Plus along with Macross and several Kodansha titles as part of a long-term deal.

While Taniguchi is joined by production mainstays Azuki, Dentsu, qzil.la and Imagica Infos, the remaining team members will be swapped out for each season to keep fans curious. Legendary video game artist Kinu Nishimura designed the characters, while Taku Kishimoto (Haikyu!!) served as screenwriter. Anime fans may know director Yamamoto from his other series such as Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion, ranked in CBR's Top 10 Best Anime Webtoon Adaptations, Ranked. Video game fans will also recognize his work on the animated portions of the iconic film The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. He returns to direct the upcoming anime Haigakura in Fall 2024.
