So do you remember Dede attacking a civilian at the end of Episode 7? Well, this is a civilian named Matt who is covered in bandages.
Now, why is Matt all wrapped up after his argument with Dede Murray?
It turns out Matt is trying to convince Prince Yu Bauer to support the Commoner Movement. However, despite the youngest prince’s refusal to support the movement, Matt continued to apply pressure.
And then Dede snapped as he pointed his wand at Matt and set the civilian on fire. However, it seems Dede is horrified by what he has done.
Unfortunately, he didn’t mean to burn the students as Dede told Prince Yu and Lambert Aurousseau that he was only giving Matt a warning for being too close to the youngest prince.
Either way, using magic against humans is a crime as the Royal Academy will make a judgment.
However, it appears that Dede Murray was placed under house arrest for a week for accidentally using magic. Sure, he could have been captured in a month, but the nobility didn’t want that.
But this sentence incited the commoners in the Kingdom of Bauer to the point that they would soon start a riot against the nobility.
Now, this is Claire François, where she has Ralaire by her side. I was surprised that the female villain accepted the cutest slime as her pet.
Oh yeah, and she put Relaire in her pocket. I have a feeling that this slime might play a role later on.
Sadly for Claire François, it appears the villain was put to sleep by Rae Taylor when she told Lene Aurousseau to keep Claire in her room for the time being.
And by her expression, Rae was extremely serious because not only did she foresee the events unfolding because she had played Revolution in her previous life, but also Rae wanted to protect Claire at all costs.
With that said, it seems the Royal Academy is under siege as the commoners are confronting the three princes who will do anything to maintain order.
After that, they needed to be cautious because if either prince accidentally killed a commoner, the nobles would face full-scale revolution against the lower classes.
Now let’s move on to Rae Taylor, where she finds one of the troublemakers trying to fan the flames by summoning a monster.
Unfortunately for this troublemaker, Rae destroyed the summoning bell. Seriously, who is this trouble-
Wait, it’s Lambert Aurousseau! Okay, now I’m curious as to why he was trying to cause some chaos in the Royal Academy.
With that said, Rae Taylor revealed that Lambert Aurousseau was the one who tampered with Dede Murray’s wand that set Matt on fire. Not only that, Rae also deduced that Lambert did not commit the crime voluntarily but was forced by someone to do dirty work.
But this is the shocking truth that Lambert Aurousseau was blackmailed because of his incestuous relationship with Lene Aurousseau.
And speaking of Lene Aurousseau, she’s pointing a knife at Claire François. If Rae tries to stop Lene’s brother, the villainess will meet her end.
However, that won’t happen thanks to Ralaire, where I’m glad the slime pet protected Claire. Of course, the villainess wants to know the truth from her trusted maid, especially regarding her brother.
Unfortunately, they are interrupted by this mysterious attacker, who tells Lambert that he has a spare summoning bell.
Or rather, the attacker fixed the broken bell when he ordered Lambert to summon the chimera… or something terrible would happen to his sister. Could he be the one who blackmailed Lambert?
As said, Lambert Aurousseau summons the chimera and it will kill both students and civilians if no one can stop this monster.
Actually, both Rae and Claire will take care of the chimera, but they need to work together to defeat the monster when the heroine freezes the chimera.
Once Rae Taylor stopped the chimera with magical ice, Claire François was finally able to use her powerful magic called Magic Ray, in which it was a powerful fire spell.
Well, that takes care of the chimera now that Rae and Claire have defeated it. However, it’s not over yet…
You see, this mysterious attacker tried to stab Claire François with a knife. Man, it looks like someone raised a death flag for the villain!
Luckily, Prince Thane Bauer was able to push the attacker away from Claire François, although the second prince was seriously injured.
What’s worse is that the attacker poisoned Prince Thane with a special toxin called cantarella.
And this particular poison comes from the Nur Empire, meaning he is planning to destabilize the Bauer Kingdom so that the Nur Empire can conquer the land.
Unfortunately, the attacker escaped as Rae and Claire will have to do something to save Prince Thane’s life.
Luckily, Rae’s previous knowledge of playing Revolution comes in quite handy when she uses magical water to remove toxins from Prince Thane’s body.
Initially, she could have created an antidote to combat the cantarella toxin, but she didn’t have time for that.
It was then Prince Rod Bauer’s responsibility to look after Prince Thane that the situation was finally under control. Don’t tell me that Prince Rod accidentally massacred some civilians?
Actually, he didn’t kill anyone, but the Academy Knights captured both Lene and Lambert Aurousseau because they were responsible for organizing an uprising. Now I fear that they may be executed.
Therefore, the only way to save the brothers’ lives is for Rae Taylor and Claire François to appeal to both King l’Ausseil and Queen Riche Bauer, although Claire will negotiate with the king because she is a noble.
Now, King l’Ausseil is responsible for instituting a meritocratic policy throughout the kingdom, although it seems that his policy did not help the commoners as they still resented the nobility clan.
Meanwhile, Queen Riche Bauer was the second wife of King l’Ausseil and the biological mother of Yu Bauer, who was said to have been affiliated with the Spiritual Church when she was a cardinal. I wonder if the Spiritual Church interferes in the kingdom’s politics?
Anyway, while Claire was trying to convince the king to save the lives of Lene and Lambert, a man named Salas Lilium told King l’Ausseil that the execution of the Aurousseau brothers was justified due to their role in inciting a rebellion with civilians.
Fortunately, hope is not yet extinguished when Prince Thane Bauer arrives to tell his father that while Aurousseau’s family has contributed wealth and power to the kingdom thanks to the discovery of the magical stone, conflict The conflict was caused by commoners’ dissatisfaction with the nobility, so the king had to reinforce his meritocratic policy throughout the kingdom or it would become meaningless.
Honestly, I’m glad that Prince Thane Bauer arrived on time and it’s all thanks to Rae Taylor who saved him.
And thanks to the appeal of Prince Thane, King l’Ausseil Bauer declared that Lene and Lambert Aurousseau would be exiled while all their assets would be confiscated by the kingdom. It is better to execute them for their crimes, even if they are forced by someone to do dirty work. Of course, we will never know the true identity of that attacker.
But before they went elsewhere, Rae Taylor delivered some recipes to Lene Aurousseau.
Do you remember the mayonnaise recipe from Episode 6? This is a sequel to when Rae tells Lene that she can use mayonnaise as an ingredient to create delicious meals. Heck, she and Lambert were able to build a restaurant during their exile.
As said, the Aurousseau brothers will be exiled to the Alpes as punishment for organizing a rebellion, but I still believe that Lene and Lambert will return in the future.
But with Lene gone, it’s time for Rae Taylor to become the only person who can protect and provide emotional support for Claire Francois. Of course, the villain won’t love the heroine back, but Rae believes that the day Claire returns her feelings will happen one day.
With that said, it looks like there are 3 more episodes left as WataOshi heads towards its climax. What new challenges do Rae Taylor and Claire François face? We’ll find out next time!
