Viz Media, one of the largest Japanese manga licensors, has announced many new series that will be officially released next year. While the publisher offers many incredible manga series, many have fallen under the radar, and this announcement is slowly drawing attention to underrated series.
Viz Media revealed a day in advance that more announcements would be made, fanning the flames of excitement from fans. Luckily, they did not disappoint.
From sports series and action-packed adventures to heartwarming romance, Viz Media's new license will be released in spring 2024. There's much more to come from the publisher in the future, but these new manga series should make many fans around the world happy.
Viz excited fans with an amazing event
Among the newly announced titles are Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, RuriDragon, The Climber, Tokyo Aliens Bros, Kaiju No.8 B-Side, Minecraft: The Manga, Firefly Wedding, Dogsred, Pink Candy Kiss, Mujina in the Deep, A Star Brighter Than the Sun, Beyblade X.
Other continuations of previously existing licenses are Heroines from One Piece, My Love Story!!, and Junji Ito's Restricted Zone. Hunter eye . One-shot by Tatsuya Endo, creator of Spy X Family, titled Four Lives Remain: Tatsuya Endo was also revealed to be in the works.
There are many Viz exclusive digital series that have also been announced, such as Shojo Null by Kanae Nakanishi and artwork by Akima, Ginka & Glüna by Shinpei Watanabe, Do Retry by Jun Kirarazaka, Wild Strawberry by Ire Yonemoto, Ichigoki's Under Control!! by Seiji Hayashi and Doron Dororon by Gen Oosuka. These digital series will launch much faster than the physical versions, scheduled for release in fall 2024.

This film stands out from the fast-paced and action-packed lineup, while delivering incredible storytelling that continues to be engaging. Ruri is also a likable protagonist, and her struggle to adapt despite her obvious differences from others makes her relatable, which is why the series has a fan base. loyal and strong long after it ended, and this is a series worth reading and one of Viz's characters. Media's best acquisitions.
Boruto's time skip takes it up a notch

Since the series began in 2017, the events of the timeskip were highly anticipated due to the destructive war that was revealed. It's finally here, and while Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is extremely enjoyable and worthy of being a Naruto sequel, the second installment is exactly what everyone has been waiting for. When Boruto returns as a different person, new and cruel villains and old friends threaten him. His Shinobi path was never compromised, he fought for the village and the world just like his father.
So far, ten chapters have been released and they have far exceeded expectations. From shocking developments, exhilarating action, great character development and great mysteries, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is fully equipped as it enters even deeper territory.
The Climber is one of the best sports movies ever

From the brilliant illustrators of DRCL and Innocent, The Climber is one of the most breathtaking comics ever created. The art is impeccable, the story is simple and interesting, the main character's development is emotional and relatable, and the themes the series presents are stunning. This is one of the best sports manga ever, and Viz Media's announcement of this license was by far the most popular announcement at the event.
The series is a fictional depiction of famous mountain climber Buntarō Katō and revolves around Buntarō Mori. He discovered the thrill and joy of rock climbing and started climbing with the help of his teacher. Mountain climbing is a couple's sport, but Mori's introverted personality led him to embark on the dangerous path of mountain trekking alone. One of the best depictions of loneliness and depression, Climber would be a great addition to the shelf of any comic book collector, and anyone for that matter.
Excellent authors are returning with new manga

Fans will also want to keep an eye out for manga by famous and reputable authors. Inio Asano, prize winner The author of Oyasumi Punpun and “Dead Demon” De De Destruction, has a new manga titled Mujina Into The Deep that is just as enjoyable as his other works. The action-packed plot of a katana-wielding assassin taking out his targets in a metropolis and Asano's signature beautiful art make this series a watch to watch.
Golden Kamuy's creator, Satoru Noda, is working on a sports manga called Dogred. Hockey manga is not as popular as basketball or soccer, but this series has an interesting plot. After being kicked out of an ice skating competition for violence, he joined the hockey team. Despite being a complete beginner to the sport, his skills and the aggressive nature of hockey make him a perfect opponent for the sport.
Many other great titles deserve attention and fans should check them out, such as the long-awaited Firefly Wedding shojo or the official sequel to Junji Ito's The Liminal Zone.
