Universal Studios Japan previously announced two new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba-themed attractions — Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba XR Ride – Blacksmith's Ride VR Roller Coaster and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: HASHIRA Practice x Hollywood Dream the Ride “story coaster”-will launch on July 19 and run until January 5, 2025 JST. More recently, it provided details about the Blacksmith Village Hyottoko Dining Hall, a Demon Slayer-themed restaurant that will also open during that time.
Customers of the Blacksmith Village Hyottoko Restaurant can expect to see stained glass and other classic Taisho-style design elements, as well as Hyottokko decorations on the walls and Yoriichi Type Zero doll models that Tanjiro practices. Mid-meal conversation between Tanjiro and his colleagues. will be distributed in the restaurant.
The menu is mainly Hashira-themed, and among them, the character inspiration for the Kasumi no Shokado Gozen/Mist Shokado Meal — which comes with beef steak, grilled glass-cut fish, sashimi, assorted tempura, etc. -is the easiest to recognize thanks to the name. The Gozen/Vivid Sushi Meal is based on the Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji love of “shine and freedom,” while the Gozen/Serene Plant-Based Meal takes the Hashira Gyomei Himejima stone as inspiration.
Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui and Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro are the respective models for the desserts Deluxe Berries, Chocolate Parfait and Swirling Black Sesame Mousse. Meanwhile, Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho and Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa are the inspiration for the drinks (Sudachi-Scented Cerulean Soda, Flower-Scented Grape Drink and Mint-Scented Stormy Ginger) respectively. Buying a drink will give you a random special coaster. There are nine designs in total, each decorated with Hashira and shaped in the shape of the corresponding sword guard.
Tanjiro, Nezuko and Genya are represented by Kids Meals, which divides the dishes into three boxes.
In addition to the Swordsman Village Hyottoko Dining Hall's offerings, USJ will update its on-the-go food menu with Sword Training Program: Tanjiro and Kotetsu's Chocolate Churritos and Strawberry Donuts & Machcha Hoop Donuts Priestess. There will also be sweet treats from Inosuke and Zenitsu.
The swordsmith village is the main setting of the Demon Slayer Arc: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village in 2023. The current season of the anime is adapted from the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc. premiered on May 12.
