Umamusume: Cinderella Grey is originally a manga series drawn by Taiyo Kuzumi with Masafumi Sugiura (Umamusume S1 series composer) is in charge of the scenario and Junnosuke Ito (S1 producer) handles the planning component. The story follows Oguri Cap during her time studying at Kasamatsu Tracen Academy.
The manga has been serialized since 2020 in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump and will release its 16th volume on September 19, 2024 JST.

The Umamusume anime began in 2018 with a television anime series produced by PAWorks production. This was followed by a second season produced by Studio KAI produced with the support of PAWorks, premiering in 2021.
