Übel Blatt anime has revealed its second trailer, along with new voice actors, staff, theme song information, and streaming information. Studios SATELIGHT and Staple Entertainment are producing the animation, and the anime will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime from January 11, 2025. You can watch the new trailer below.

Yuya Hirose was previously announced to voice main character Köinzell, with Hina Tachibana as Peepi. Hina Tachibana will also perform the ending theme song with GARNiDELiA opening.

Prior to the streaming premiere, a global screening event for the anime will take place on November 29.
at Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2024, followed by Anime x Game Festival 2024 in South Korea on December 6 and 7, as well as the Japanese premiere in Tokyo on December 15. After a world premiere in AFA, will feature Yuya Hirose and Producer Yuki Watanabe from PONY CANYON.

Etoroji Shiono writes and draws the manga Übel Blatt, which has been serialized by Square Enix since 2004. It originally started in their magazine Gangan YG, was transferred to Young Gangan in 2009, and then continued to be serialized in Monthly Big Gangan from 2011 to 2019. A sequel manga titled Übel Blatt II: Knights of the Late King is currently serialized in the monthly magazine Big Gangan. Manga UP! is publishing the Übel Blatt manga in English.
The story follows Köinzell, a mysterious boy who carries a black sword. Before changing his name, he was called Ascheriit, and he was betrayed by the Seven Heroes and labeled a Traitor along with several others. Köinzell survived by eating fairy meat and is now on a quest for revenge against the Seven Heroes 20 years later.
