The official Twitter account of Hobunsha’s Weekly Manga Times magazine revealed on March 16, 2023 that Yayu Murata’s Manga Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru is getting an anime adaptation. There is currently no information on the format of the Anime.

The manga revolves around Keisuke Niijima, a man who is still grieving 10 years after his wife Takae passed away. But one day, an elementary school girl came to his house and said that she was Takae, reincarnated as another girl. Now Keisuke is trying to make up for lost time, while Takae struggles as an elementary school student with the mind of a woman in her 40s, trying to create situations for her he can meet Keisuke.
Murata published a one-shot version of the manga in Weekly Manga Times in April 2018, before starting serialization in July of the same year. The manga ended in December 2022, and Hobunsha published the 14th and final volume of the manga on March 16, 2023.
The manga inspired a live-action series that aired from January to March 2022.
