Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and they describe the plot as follows: Makoto Misumi is just an ordinary teenager who is suddenly summoned to another world as a “hero.” But the goddess of this world called him ugly and stripped him of his hero status, then sent him to the end of the world. He meets dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves and many other non-human races in the wasteland. Makoto manages to show promise in using magic and fighting, something he would not have been able to do in his old world. He has many encounters, but can he survive in this new world? A fantasy story about a boy abandoned by gods and humanity trying to reestablish his life in this new world is about to begin!
