“Gambling” has racked up over a million views on Crunchyroll’s official release and over 11 million on Syudou’s official channel. He participated in the series’ numerous revenges after Tsukimichi moved from animation studio C2C to JCStaff for Season 2, with director Shinji Ishihira, Kenta Ihara, and music director Yasuharu Takanashi continuing. You can see the cover art for “Reversal” below. Syudou said this about the comeback:
The song “Reversal” is a song I wrote specifically for this work, at the same time, it shows the growth of myself and Makoto since I was in charge of the song “Gamble” in the first season compared to now . It’s also a song that expresses my overwhelming gratitude for having the opportunity to create such songs. I sincerely hope that the song “Reversal” will be loved by everyone along with this work. I am waiting for that!
The latest Tsukimichi episode also sees the return of two characters to the world, with the Rembrandt Sisters having been virtually cured of the curse in Part 1. Now, they join the growing class of students of Misumi when he founded the Academy. Readers can check out our review of the Tsukimichi Season 2 premiere, which was described as “imperfect but enjoyable.” The early episodes focus on the other Heroes, Hibiki and Tomoki, whose introductions were omitted in the first season.
Tsukimichi Season 2 will take place in two consecutive parts and is streaming on Crunchyroll. They describe the series:
Makoto Misumi is just an ordinary teenager who is suddenly summoned to another world as a “hero”. But the goddess of this world called him ugly and stripped him of his hero status, then sent him to the end of the world. He meets dragons, spiders, orcs, dwarves and many other non-human races in the wasteland. Makoto tries to show promise in using magic and fighting, something he couldn’t do in his old world. He has many encounters, but can he survive in this new world? A fantasy story about a boy abandoned by gods and humanity trying to reestablish his life in this new world is about to begin!
