TRIGGER's X (formerly Twitter) has released some stills from the nearly four-minute video, claiming that no 3DCG was used at all.
The Transformers anniversary cartoon was previously teased in late August.
Hasbro's Transformers franchise began in 1984, which saw the debut of the first animated television series and toys. The famous robots in disguise were originally toys from the Diaclone and Microman lines from Takara Tomy (then called Takara). The idea of transforming caught Hasbro's attention, and to make them more appealing to American audiences, the company partnered with Marvel Comics to come up with the lore and character names.
