Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon – FromSoftware / Bandai Namco Entertainment
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is the third reboot of the Armored Core game franchise. A completely new setting, where the player plays the role of a mercenary pilot with the number C4-621, an Augmented Human mercenary (like a Cyborg, with modified mechanical intervention in the body). He will have to accept the mission to return to the planet RUBICON, which is now only a ruin, to gain the right to exploit a mineral called Coral (a resource in the game and only available on this planet). .
Combining FromSoftware’s long-standing expertise in mechanical games with their signature action gameplay, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon brings an entirely new action experience to the series.
Dead Island 2 – Dambuster Studios / Deep Silver
Dead Island 2 is an action role-playing horror game developed by Yager Development and published by Deep Silver. This is the sequel to Dead Island, one of the most successful horror games of the last decade.
Dead Island 2 takes place after the events of the previous part when a zombie pandemic broke out globally, turning the world into a living hell. Players will take on the role of one of the selected characters, trying to survive and find a way to escape from the zombie-filled California peninsula.
One of the highlights of Dead Island 2 is its unique gameplay, combining RPG and third-person shooting elements. Players can customize their character with different skills and collect items to improve their strength and abilities in fighting zombies.
Ghostrunner 2 – One More Level / 505 Games
Ghostrunner 2 follows the events of the first game and sees you continue to play as Jack, a metal ninja who is essentially a Genji that’s legally distinct from Overwatch. This time Dharma, a large tower where humans live, is under siege by an AI cult of other metal ninjas who have glowing red eyes and talk about things like eternal power. You have to hunt them down and cut them into pieces, that’s all the task you have to do.
Hi-Fi Rush – Tango Gameworks / Bethesda Softworks
Tango Gameworks’ latest game is an action game combined with music (rhythm action), in which gamers control the main character Chai to realize his dream of becoming a Rock star by… dismantling the flood. The ill-fated robot was dropped into the arena with the guy. Chai needs to do this according to the tune played in the game and create long combos to score as high as possible. You can find some other games of this genre released in recent years such as Bullets Per Minute, Rez or Metal: Hellsinger.
Because it is a music game, everything in Hi-Fi Rush happens according to the rhythm, and the more consistent with this rhythm, the higher the score the gamer will have. In fact, even the movements of the characters or the movements of objects in the environment “match” the music, and act as a clue for gamers to easily determine when to use their moves. . Those who have never played a music game (like the author) may need some time to get used to the gameplay, but just a few minutes will pass and you will find yourself controlling Chai like a true artist. .
Remnant 2 – Gunfire Games / Gearbox Publishing
In Remnant 2, the player will control a gunner using two guns and a melee weapon. You can choose one of ten diverse classes including Gunslinger (gunner), Handler (trainer), Challenger (challenger), Medic (doctor), Hunter (hunter), Summoner (summoner) , Alchemist (alchemist), Explorer (adventurer), Engineer (engineer) and Invader (invader). Each class will have different characteristics and gameplay, urging players to explore.
Regarding the plot, Remnant 2 has finished telling what was left unfinished in part 1. It is still a post-apocalyptic Earth setting, where players have to fight against the invading gang called Root. After an arduous journey of fighting, the main character finally found a human settlement and considered it his home. However, the storm came and forced him to take on a new mission – to save the Earth.
