Sailor Moon is preparing for the reopening of the official Sailor Moon Store located in Japan's famous Harajuku shopping district. To celebrate its return, the store is returning with a completely new look and a new round of commemorative merchandise.
On X (formerly Twitter), Sailor Moon shared this exciting news via the store's official 30th anniversary page (@sailormoon30th), confirming that the store's return is part of the Sailor Moon's 30th anniversary event is taking place. The official Sailor Moon store originally opened in September 2017 at Laforet Harajuku, a large department store that houses some of the area's most popular fashion boutiques. The location is divided into two main parts called “Pink” and “Blue”. The former contains Sailor Moon DVDs, collectible toys, keychains, and stationery products, while the latter is dedicated to Sailor Moon-themed clothing and jewelry. Last month, both areas were temporarily closed to prepare for renovations.
