The light novel series The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army is Human is being adapted into an anime, scheduled to air this year. A teaser trailer was released as part of the announcement.

Studio A-Cat (5 Second Fighting Game, I Somehow Became Stronger As I Improved My Farm Related Skills) is working on the animation for the series under the direction by Norihiko Nagahama. Meanwhile, Toko Machida is composing the series, Masami Sueoka is designing the characters, and Kohta Yamamoto is in charge of the music. The anime’s cast includes:
- Jun Fukuyama plays Ike
- Hina Tachibana plays Satie
- Shizuka Itoh as Cefiro
- Manaka Iwami as Demon Lord Dairokuten
- Azumi Waki as Lilith

The series was first published on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2016 before Futabasha’s Monster Bunko was serialized from September 2016 to April 2018. A manga adaptation with illustrations by Anajiro was published. released in 2019 and is currently running on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster.
