Fans of the One Piece manga have been waiting for the Elbaf arc for almost two decades. After all this waiting, the fan demand is very high.
But One Piece seems ready to meet readers' expectations, starting a new arc with shocking details.
After a disastrous encounter with the Gorosei and the sacrifice of the giant robot Emeth, the Straw Hats leave Egghead Island with Bonney, Lilith, and the giants. One group stays on the Thousand Sunny, while the other group stays on the giants' ship.
Two days after the Egghead incident, the Thousand Sunny carrying Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper suddenly disappeared into thin air. The rest of the people on the Elbaf were shocked by this incident.
Like them, we also don't know what happened to Luffy's group or why they suddenly disappeared.
However, at the end of the chapter, we get a bit of an update on the split. It turns out Nami was somehow separated from the other five and woke up in a strange room. The room looked like it was made of Lego. But that wasn’t the only strange thing, Nami was wearing a different outfit, something like a Viking’s (usually worn by the natives of Elbaf) and had a sword on her back.
One Piece chapter 1126 ends here, so we don't know what happens after that or how Nami got to that room. Maybe the next chapter will answer this question.
Aside from the Straw Hats' split, chapter 1126 also reveals Luffy's most loyal ally and the true nature of the Red Hair Pirates. In the clash between the Red Hair Pirates and the Barto Club, Shanks' crew emerged victorious, but they have a dark plan for their defeated opponents.
The Yonko crew gave Bartolomeo and his group a powerful poison and ordered them to make Luffy drink it within a month. But instead of doing that to his idol, Bartolomeo drank the poison himself, choosing to sacrifice his life to protect Luffy.
Of course that bottle of poison was fake, it was just a test of Bartolomeo's loyalty to Luffy from Shanks.
As it seemed, Bartolomeo and his crew still faced a terrible fate. As Bartolomeo's crew tried to leave on the Going Luffy-senpai as quickly as possible, Yasopp fired at them, causing the ship to explode in the sea. The narrator says: “Near the coast of Gartel Island… The Bartolomeo pirates' ship has sunk… Their fate is unknown…”
Additionally, we also get confirmation of Garp's fate as he is believed to be alive but imprisoned at Hachinosu.
One Piece Chapter 1126 will officially release on September 15, 2024.
