The television anime adaptation of the Given manga first debuted in Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block in July 2019, marking a groundbreaking moment as the first anime in the Boys’ Love manga to join the Noitamina lineup. Crunchyroll, the popular streaming platform, began streaming the series and later treated fans to an English dubbed version in August 2022. Aniplex also released the series on DVD and Blu-ray .
The synopsis at Crunchyroll reads: “Somehow, the guitar he once loved to play and the basketball games he found so enjoyable have lost their appeal… That is until Ritsuka Uenoyama randomly Meet Mafuyu Sato. This special volume coincides with the manga’s seventh volume in December 2021 and is also available on Crunchyroll.
Published in Shinshokan’s Cheri+ magazine, the manga consists of eight volumes, with the latest being released in October 2022. Following the anime’s conclusion in 2019, three additional volumes were released to build the foundation. basis for potential future projects. In the United States, Viz Media’s SuBLime publishing division holds the license for the English version of the series.
