Leeanne M.”Mongie”Krecic launches comic book on Webtoon service

The New York Comic Con panel for Let’s Web Comic Creator Leeanne M. Krecic (also known as”Mongie”) revealed on Sunday that studio OLM will produce an anime adaptation of the web comic .

Mongie launched the comic on South Korea’s Webtoon platform in 2016. The comic ended its third “season” in September 2022, after which Mongie announced that she would no longer update the comic on Webtoon because Many reasons are related to the Webtoon platform, including the lack of marketing on the Webtoon platform and salary disparities. The comic will return in fall 2025, although Mongie has yet to announce a new platform. Rocketship Entertainment is releasing the manga in English and released the third volume on June 27. OLM is best known for producing anime such as television anime, various anime films and videos, as well as the Yo-kai Watch film and television anime. The studio also animated the anime Future Card Buddyfight, Berserk, BanG Dream!, Atom The Beginning, Inazuma Eleven, To Heart, and Utawarerumono, as well as the film Miss Hokusai. More recently, the studio has produced anime such as Odd Taxi, Komi Can’t Communication, Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated to Total Fantasy Knockout, Summer Time Rendering, Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack, The Faraway Paladin: Lord of Rust Mountain, Apothecary’s Diary and Pon no Michi are coming soon.
