The Teito Moyu prequel is scheduled to appear on Steam in November
Game developer aNCHOR revealed during an online event on Saturday that the games Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative will be coming to Nintendo Switch next spring. The company also added that the prequel story Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse Teito Moyu (Burning of the Royal Capital) will be available on PC via Steam in November. A special website for the game will launch on October 23.
Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative will not only be available on Switch via download, but also in retail bundles with bonuses.
The story is about humans waging a long war against the BETA extraterrestrial species, with humanoid weapons known as Tactical Surface Fighters.
After creating Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumble Hearts), the adult game franchise âge released its first game Muv-Luv title in 2003, followed by Muv-Luv Alternative in 2006. The Muv-Luv franchise has since sold over 500,000 games as well as over 3 million figures, figures and other hobby releases.
Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, a spin-off novel to the series, inspired a manga and animated television series of the same name. Its prequel, Schwarzes Marken, also inspired an anime. âge’s Kimi ga Nozomu Eien inspired an anime television series that Funimation released titled Rumble Hearts.
The first season of the anime Muv-Luv Alternative premiered in October 2021 in the programming block [+Ultra] of Fuji TV and Crunchyroll aired the first season when it aired. Season 2 premieres in October 2022.
