Two new teaser images and a PV teaser trailer have been released for the anime series The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal. The sequel to The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup is expected to release around October 2024.

The latest visuals and trailer were shown at the ADK Emotions booth stage at Anime Japan 2024. Both were shown highlighting the upcoming match between Team Japan, led by protagonist Ryoma Echizen , against the formidable Team Germany.
Three new Team Germany characters and voice actors were also revealed, including Fukushi Ochiai as Dankmar Schneider, Tomoya Ito as Bertie Borisovich Volk, and Chikahiro Kobayashi as Ken Lendoll.
They join the main voice cast which includes:

Keiichiro Kawaguchi (ISLAND, Higurashi: When They Cry – Sotsu ) is directing the new Prince of Tennis anime, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Anime-Gataris, EDENS ZERO) as writer and Akiharu Ishii (Ultramarine Magmell, Noblesse) as designer character and animation director. Studio KAI and MSC are responsible for producing the animation.
The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup aired from July 7, 2022 to September 29, 2022 and is the first The Prince of Tennis II television anime since 2012. The series takes place after OVA 2014 The Prince of Tennis II OVA vs Genius10 events.
