In the previous chapter of The Player Who Hides His Past, Captain of the Knights, Harcon asked Lee Hoyeon to continue carving a third slash mark on the wall if he could really show off his aura with his sword. When Lee Hoyeon checked the sword’s stats, he realized he couldn’t use it and instead chose a measly training sword.

Everyone was shocked because they never expected that Lee Hoyeon could show off his sword temperament with what they considered a toy sword.
