A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Goblin Slayer II anime. In addition to previewing more footage of the returning characters (and a bit of new Wizard Boy extras), the video also includes a preview of the opening song “Entertainment” from Milli.
Goblin Slayer II is out on October 6, with Crunchyroll streaming outside Japan. Like the first season in 2018, it is based on the dark fantasy light novel written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki, published under SB Creative’s GA Bunko label. Yen Press describes the book as follows:
A young priestess forms her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. Goblin Slayer comes to their rescue – a man who has devoted his life to destroying all goblins, by any means necessary. And as word of his exploits begins to spread, there’s no telling who will call next…

Goblin Slayer II by Misato Takada (Saiyuki Reload Zeroin) directed with Hiromi Katou (ID-0) as character designer and LIDENFILMS as an animation production studio. Director of the first season Takaharu Ozaki on board as lead director, while series composer/scriptwriter Hideyuki Kurata and music composer Kenichirou Suehiro will take on their roles.
Cast includes Yuuichirou Umehara as Goblin Slayer, Yui Ogura as Priestess, Yuka Iguchi as Cow Girl, Maaya Uchida as Guild Girl, Nao Touyama as the High Elf Archer, Yuuichi Nakamura as the Dwarf Mage, Tomokazu Sugita as the Lizard Priest, and Mariya Ise as the Witch Boy.
The Goblin Slayer light novel series, which has also inspired spin-offs and manga adaptations, began in 2016 and has 16 volumes as of July 2022. Prequels to the anime and OVA Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown 2020 by White Fox manufacture.
