Despite appearances, this is almost certainly Nous Galia.

Once again, we see one of those episodes of The Misfit of Demon King Academy, where a number crazy person is thrown at the viewer—and is further complicated by a stream of proper nouns (some nouns which we had never heard before). Simply put, now that Anos and crew are back in the present, it’s time to take down Avos and restore her to her Misa-esque state. Of course, things are never that simple.
Avos is waiting in one room while Shin is in another—except “Shin” is Avos in disguise and “Avos” is Nous Galia. As for the real Shin, he is waiting in another dimension inside the invisible soul to grab Anos for a showdown. Then, on top of that, the Seven Demon Elders are getting ready to kill all the hybrid students, not knowing that among both those students and their forces are Demons from 2000 years ago, who know very well that Anos is the true Devil. The king is tyrannical and is secretly supporting him.
Suffice it to say there’s a lot going on and to be honest, this is one of the weaker episodes in the series because of this. There’s almost no hand-holding here—nothing is explained in detail, and you’ll just have to figure it out for yourself or be left in the dust. The story was likely told in this rushed fashion to give Anos and Shin as much time to reunite as possible—which makes sense since this is the best and most important part of the episode.
When it’s over.
When it was over for that, Shin did not rebel against Anos. Rather, he was biding his time. Instead of thinking that killing Anos and supporting Avos is the only way to save his daughter, he has complete faith that Anos will save Misa—he just needs to ensure that her legend will survive until Anos is restored. born and have the ability to do so. Now that Anos is ready for the final battle, Shin is seeking one thing: retribution for his betrayal—and Leno’s death.
For 2000 years, Shin has worked to destroy the peace that Anos died for. He is guilty of this regardless of his reasons. However, what he didn’t expect was for Anos to have no problem with Shin’s actions. Rather, Anos will do anything to save Misa—just like he would do with any of his other modern-day companions. However, Shin wanted an honorable death in the battle against Anos. However, Anos instead released Shin from his responsibilities—because he now had other responsibilities.
All her life, Misa has always longed for her parents. She knew she was protected by a great demon. Therefore, she was able to form the Fan Union in the first place. Furthermore, she founded the Fan Union with the sole purpose of changing the world into a place where her parents’ love (between demons and spirits) would not be considered a scandal—a world where that she and her family can love. each other openly. If Shin dies, Misa will be denied her greatest wish—and just because she’s trying to kill him right now doesn’t mean Anos doesn’t have her best interests at heart.
Likewise, Shin, through Anos’ sharing about his relationship with his new father, can understand his importance to Misa. And for his part, he realizes that he wants to be Misa’s father—to take on this role and all that it means. It seems that after 2000 years, Shin has not only found a way to love but also live for it.

Random thoughts:
After using Aisha’s Demonic Eye of Destruction to lower their defenses, Misha can recreate a copy of the Demon Castle Delsgade—that is, the body of a god—to increase her power to to the point where she can take down all of the Seven Demon Elders with a single blow.
→ Why does Avos speak as if she knows the future? Is it just arrogance?
→ Technically, there are three Lays running around the castle? That won’t be confusing at all.
So I guess Lay just fought Avos one-on-one while Anos was dealing with Shin?
