Shueisha's Jump J-Books website is posting a second mystery novel for the Kinnikuman series titled Kinnikuman Akuma Chōjin Atami Ryokō Satsujin Jiken (Kinnikuman Devil Superhuman Atami) Trip Murder Case), which will release on July 4 . Oginuma X is writing the novel again and original series author Yudetamago is supervising.
The new novel tells stories about mysterious incidents that happen wherever Meat-kun and Kintotsuman go, especially during the superman's Atami trip and the super spicy gourmet event. They meet suspects who can disassemble their bodies into pieces, someone with six arms, someone who can wear a curry on his head, and someone who weighs 100 tons. Meat-kun and Kintotsuman try to uncover the suspect's unpredictable tricks. The new novel also presents a challenge to readers.

The first novel titled Kinnikuman Yojigen Sappō Satsujin Jiken (Kinnikuman Murder Case 4D) (pictured right) was published in March 2023.
A manga author duo named Yudetamago continued their original Kinnikuman wrestling manga as a free webcomic in 2011. The creators went back to their first 1979 Kinnikuman storyline and continues where they last left off the story in 1987. The original manga has inspired various anime films and television series. Yudetamago previously published the Kinnikuman one-shot manga in Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine in 2015, then published the one-shot in Weekly Shonen Jump for the first time in 11 years in June 2019. The second compilation volume 84 of the manga was published in Japan on March 29.
Toy figurines of Kinnikuman were imported to the United States under the “MUSCLE” label in the 1980s. Viz Media later released the sequel Kinnikuman Nisei-Second Generations manga by Takashi Shimada and Yoshinori Nakai in North America titled Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy, and 4Kids Entertainment aired the anime television adaptation.
The upcoming Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Anime Hen (Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc, or literally Kinnikuman Perfect Chо̄jin/Superhuman Origin Arc) will premiere in July on CBC, TBS and 26 other affiliated networks. The new anime celebrates the 40th anniversary of the original television anime, which premiered in April 1983. The season is named after the 2011 manga revival of the same name.
