The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 has revealed the character trailer of Tatsuya Chiba, the main character voiced by Yuichi Nakamura. The trailer also reveals new character illustrations:
The anime’s third season was confirmed earlier this month. It will consist of three parts: Double Seven, Steeplechase and Old City Uprising, and premiere in April 2024.
Jimmy Stone will direct the new anime series at studio 8Bit. Kana Ishida is in charge of character design, while Taku Iwasaki is in charge of the music. Muneo Nakamoto is writing the script. The new project also revealed teasers and trailers in July. LiSA returned with the opening theme song “Shouted Serenade”:
The Irregulars of Magic High School season 3 – Trailer
The Irregular at Magic High School series begins with a web novel by Tsutomu Sato. First published in Shosetsuka ni Naro, Dengeki Bunko published it as a light novel in 2011. Manga adaptations of each season also exist. The sequel to The Irregular at Magic High School: Magian Company begins in 2020.
The first season of studio MADHOUSE’s anime aired in spring 2014, while the Visitor Arc sequel (season 2) followed in fall 2020. Although MADHOUSE season 1, 8-bit animation continued season 2. The prequel, The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc (8-bit studio) aired on December 31, 2021. The franchise also has a film from 2017, titled The Girl Who Summons the Stars (8-bit studio). Studio CONNECT’s The Honor at Magic High School spin-off anime is set to air throughout Summer 2021.
