The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3’s upcoming release date has been announced, along with a returning cast and new director.
Per Crunchyroll, a new Season 3 commercial for The Irregular at Magic High School has revealed that the new series will premiere on April 5, 11:30 p.m. (JST). Additionally, a preview screening of Part 3 will take place on March 31 at the Shinjuku Wald 9 cinema in Tokyo. Yuichi Nakamura, voice actor of Tatsuya Shiba, and Saori Hayami, voice actor of Miyuki Shiba, will attend the event.

Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama’s upcoming Sand Land anime series receives a new trailer announcing its release date on Disney+.
Jimmy Stone, director of the new anime series of The Irregular at Magic High School, will accompany Nakamura and Hayami in the advanced screening of Season 3. Although this is his first time directing a part of The Irregular at Magic High School , Stone has been involved with the series since 2014 as animation director, mechanical designer, unit director, etc. Stone also served as episode director for the 2015 anime Chivalry of a Failed Knight.
8bit, the animation studio that took over production of The Irregular at Magic High School following Madhouse’s work in Season 1, is once again involved in the new anime television series. Recently, it was announced that Bandai Namco Filmworks will make 8bit a wholly owned subsidiary on April 1. The two companies began collaborating in June 2020, leading to the production of The Slime Diaries : That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime spin-off animated series. Management in 8bit will remain the same.

The plot of Irregulars in Magic High School
The Irregular at Magic High School was originally a web novel series by writer Tsutomu Sato. The series takes place in an alternate world where magic not only exists but is enhanced by modern technology. However, the number of magic users is limited due to the rare genetic resources needed to achieve magic and the severe devastation of the population after World War III.
Miyuki attends First High School with her brother and bodyguard Tatsuya. While Miyuki is considered a prodigy, Tasuya’s magical skills are considered inferior by his peers who are unaware of the true potential Tasuya has within him. The series is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.
