Netflix will stream an anime adaptation of Rising Impact’s golf manga Nakaba Suzuki (The Seven Deadly Sins) in 2024. The anime will have two parts, scheduled to premiere in June and August.
Rising Impact by Lay-duce produced with Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy, Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) as director. In addition, part of the core staff is available Michihiro Tsuchiya (Main Composer for the series) as screenwriter, Kiyotaka Oshiyama of Studio DURIAN (Devilman Crybaby) as character designer and Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya) as composer.

In Rising Impact, Gawain Nanaumi is a third grader with an unusual love of baseball and making the ball actually fly. During a chance encounter with a female professional golfer, Kiria Nishino, he learned that golf would allow him to hit the ball farther than any other sport.
Using his physical strength and keen observation skills gained from living in a rural, mountainous environment, he can hit the ball an impressive distance that rivals even professional players. Karma. With Kiria’s help, the new golf enthusiast enrolls at Camelot Academy, a prestigious school for both skilled and aspiring golfers from around the world. Gawain wants to become the best professional golfer in the world but there are other golf prodigies with extraordinary skills standing in his way and he must face various challenges to overcome them.

The Rising Manga Impact ran from 1998 to 2022 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It was originally supposed to end in 1999, but returned after about three months due to feedback from readers.
Rising Impact is the latest golf anime announced in recent years. Adapted from Oi! belong to Ken Kawasaki and Yuu Furusawa The Tonbo manga is also set for release in 2024, while the original anime BIRDIE WING-Golf Girls’ Story-launched its second season in April this year.
