A popular Kodansha publication is coming to an end, sending several manga series elsewhere.
Shonen Magazine Edge has now published its final issue, with the discontinuation of the title initially announced for August 2023. The manga magazine Shonen began publishing in 2015, with the first issue marked by a New series by Hiroyuki Takei, author of Shaman King. The current iteration of the long-running series, Shaman King The Super Star, is one of the biggest titles published in Shonen Magazine Edge. Luckily, this magazine and many of its other works will find a new home under various Kodansha titles, as revealed by Comic Natalie.
According to the Japanese website, the following manga series will be ported to the Comic Days app:

Meanwhile, Yukino Sonoyama’s Bless will be serialized in Weekly Shonen Sirius starting with the February 2024 issue, which will publish on December 15. The Suiyōbi no Sirius (Wednesday Sirius) section on Niconico is the new home of Nigoru Hitomi de Nani o Negau by Yanomi Saitō Haiserk Senki (What You Wish With Cloudy Eyes: Heiserk War Chronicles) and Nigoru Hitomi de Nani o Negau by Yanomi Saitō Haiserk Senki (What You Wish With Cloudy Eyes: Heiserk War Chronicles), along with Tekkō Akitsu Poron’s Urahara Jōshi no Usagi ga (Boss Urahara’s Rabbit Is Poron) is heading to Twitter comic service Twi-shiri at a currently unannounced date.
Watashi o Center ni Suru to Chikaimasuka? (Do you promise to make me the center?) by Jun Wakatsuki and My Deer Friend Nokotan by Oshioshi will appear on the Magazine Pocket app on January 3, 2024 and December 20, 2023, respectively. These will also is the new home of Shaman King The Super Star, although it’s unknown when the series will return to production.
Shonen Magazine Edge takes its name from its content which is considered “the extreme appearance of the magazine group.” The Shaman King franchise is particularly popular with jump publishers, with Shaman King: Zero being released through Jump X. It is also home to Shaman King: Flowers, while Shaman King: Red Crimson and Shaman King: Marcos started and finished their run. at Shonen Edge Magazine. Another spin-off of the series is Shaman King & a garden, a shoujo title published through Nakayoshi. An anime adaptation of Shaman King: Flowers is currently in the works.
