On Tuesday, Tetsuya Tashiro, creator of Akame ga KILL! manga, announced on Twitter that his current work, Slasher Maidens (Kaijin Reijō), is preparing for the final battle with the release of volume 11.
Yen Press, the English publisher, describes the story as follows: Worldwide, a strange phenomenon occurs where individuals exposed to extreme mental stress transform into monsters known as “ Kaijin”, succumbing to violent urges.

Asuma Sudo, an unusual character, has no connection to these supernatural events until he enrolls in an all-girls school while pursuing his crush. There, he discovers that the school is actually a front for a special anti-Kaijin agency.
Tashiro began the Slasher Maidens manga in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine in April 2018, and compiled volume 11 was released on November 21. Yen Press published the English version, with volume eight released. released on August 22 and volume nine will be released on December 12.
Tashiro and Takahiro finished Akame ga KILL! manga in December 2016, began serialization in 2010 in Monthly Gangan Joker magazine. Square Enix has published a total of 15 volumes of the series.

The manga inspired a television anime that premiered in Japan in July 2014, streamed by Crunchyroll and Sentai Filmworks handling the Blu-ray Disc and DVD release. The anime later joined Adult Swim’s Toonami block in August 2015.
