Two new main PV trailers have been released for the upcoming The Fable TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 6, 2024 as two consecutive courses. Disney+ will exclusively stream the series worldwide.
Both trailers also previewed the anime’s main opening and ending themes. The opening theme was “A feat of professionalism. Hannya” by Japanese band ALI, while the ending theme is “Odd Numbers” by funk band UmedaCypher.

Ryosuke Takahashi (Soukou Kihei Votoms: Koei Futatabi) is directing the anime, with Yuuya Takashima (Mobile Suit Granada: The Witch of Mercury, science fiction researcher) writing the series and Kyuuma Ooshita ( My Co-animation director of Home Hero) and Saki Hasegawa (Aoashi) is the character designer. Tezuka Productions is responsible for producing the animation.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

The original manga by Katsuhisa Minami was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine from November 1, 2014 to November 18, 2019. A total of 22 tankoubon volumes have been released. The first series was followed by The Fable: The Second Contact, which ran from July 19, 2021 to July 10, 2023 with a total of nine tankoubon episodes. The manga also inspired a short story collection and a live-action film.
