The new season premieres on October 6
Kadokawa revealed the second promotional video on Sunday for the television anime The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3.

The season will premiere on October 6 at 9 p.m. JST on AT-X before airing on other stations. Crunchyroll will stream the series starting October 6. This season’s new cast includes:
MADKID performs the third season opening theme song “SIN”. Chiai Fujikawa performed the ending theme song “Suki ni Natte wa Ikenai Riyū” (The Reason I Can’t Love You). Both artists return from both previous seasons of the anime.
Hitoshi Haga, who wrote five episodes and directed four from the anime’s first season, is the new director of the third season. He is the third director of the series after Takao Abo in the first season and Masato Jinbo in the second season. Keigo Koyanagi continues to write and supervise the series’ scripts. Kevin Penkin also returns as music and Kinema Citrus returns as animation producer. Franziska van Wulfen and Sana Komatsu joined Masahiro Suwa in designing the characters, and previous seasons’ animation director Kōta Sera is now credited for collaborating on the designs.
The Rising of The Shield Hero anime series debuted with a two-hour special in January 2019 and ran for 25 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The Rising of the Shield Hero 2 premiered in April 2022. Crunchyroll again streamed the anime as it aired.
One Peace Books is publishing Aiya Kyu’s original novel and manga adaptation in English.
