Jujutsu KaisenThe second season’s finale cemented it as a modern Shonen classic, but may also have left some fans confused because of the complex nature of the villains’ actions and the branch off in Season 3. This isn’t the first time the series has introduced something new. inform your audience and expect them to keep up. In fact, it’s one of the many reasons why so many fans love the movie and the manga it’s based on.
Part of what makes Jujutsu Kaisen so confusing is its complex power system. Mangak Gege Akutami truly created one of the best Shonen power systems of modern times, but behind all that flashy combat lies a huge amount of technical information. Break down the differences between things like regular Cursed Energy and Reverse Cursed Techniques along with the basic mechanics of techniques like Simple Domain and Domain Extension. While the fights can still be somewhat difficult to follow without an in-depth knowledge of these terms, mastering Jujutsu Kaisen’s power system will make the series more interesting. Luckily, there’s only one confusing part of the finale that involves these complicated techniques.
What did Pseudo-Geto do?
After the special-level witch Yuki Tsukumo arrives at the end of the battle between the witches and Geto’s body, she asks him about his philosophy on Cursed Energy, recalling her conversation at the end of the Past arc. Gojo’s past. Yuki says she wants humanity to overcome the Cursed Energy, escaping it like one of Jujutsu Kaisen’s most powerful characters Toji Fushiguro. Psuedo-Geto replied that he instead wanted to optimize Cursed Energy, and for that purpose He uses Mahito’s cursed technique that he absorbed in the previous episode to create new witches across Japan..
He was only able to do this because Mahito developed his abilities greatly during his fight against Yuji and Todo. By using Mahito’s ability to transform human bodies, and the bodies of ordinary people differed from the bodies of witches in certain fundamental ways, he used his power to shrink This gap with many he had pointed out earlier. With the sudden creation of new Cursed Energy users, Pseudo-Geto hoped that this would lead to an overall increase in Cursed Energy and inevitable conflict between witches This new will result in the survivors becoming the strongest of the group. Why exactly he wants this is unclear at this point, but will likely be explored further in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3.
What happened to Japan in general
After performing his transformation, Pseudo-Geto summoned countless cursed souls to protect himself and find a way to escape from Gojo’s prison realm. Faced with the large-scale destruction in Tokyo, the government struggled to provide an explanation to the public. Additionally, with Gojo gone, a powerful protection against the Curse also disappears, leaving the public more at risk than ever. Because of this, the government revealed the existence of the Curse to the public, although they attempted to prevent mass panic by claiming that they would only appear in Tokyo.
The Japanese government also faced a power vacuum when many high-ranking officials went missing after the Shibuya Incident
Unfortunately for civilians, this does not stop newly emboldened Curses from attacking defenseless civilians. The finale didn’t reveal the full extent of the new increase in cursed attacks, but it did show some shocking cases of carnage as random people were killed. Part of this is due to Pseudo-Geto’s machinations, as the rise of Cursed Energy benefits his plans to optimize the country’s energy supply. Exactly how he is continuing to push his agenda and influence the public if this is revealed in the recently announced Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3. Another important part of this is of course Gojo’s absence, but this is not the only consequence of that.
What’s going on with the witches?
Not only does Gojo’s presence stop the curses from spreading, but he is also strong enough to stop his superiors from doing whatever they want. These mysterious superiors form the bureaucratic backbone of the Jujutsu Association and can therefore cause as much damage as they wish. While luckily they may not have actually been malicious, they clearly have an ax to grind against Gojo, which skewed their decisions at the end of the episode. This is a shame as they released 4 extremely important new edicts at the end of the last episode that directly affect Yuji.
The first is the announcement that Geto is alive and that his death sentence is reinstated, which makes perfect sense given the destruction he caused. However, the latter seems to be based entirely on their hatred of Gojo as they label him as an accomplice in the Shibuya Incident, which is completely contrary to reality. By labeling him an enemy, they can more easily justify their third and fourth announcements, which target the witches Gojo is protecting. The third calls for the death of headmaster Yaga, whose Cursed Technique has offended many of these more traditional superiors. The fourth call for Yuji’s execution that Gojo stopped at the beginning of the series to be reinstated and Yuta appointed as executioner.
Who is Yuta and why did he come back?
For fans who haven’t seen Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Yuta Okkotsu could be a confusing new addition to the series, as he is the main character of that show but is rarely mentioned outside of the show. Even for fans who have seen that movie, there are still some questions surrounding Yuta, such as why he still seems to be able to reach Rika even though her soul has been freed. at the end of the movie and why he hates Yuji so much. The first may be related to the training he underwent with the wizard Miguel during the events of the Jujutsu Kaisen show. The second is because Yuta cares deeply about his friends at Jujutsu school. Given that Sukuna hurt Inumaki in his rage, this causes Yuta to hold a grudge against Yuji.
Yuta is a special level wizard, which makes him one of the strongest characters in anime.
Part 3 will likely delve deeper into Yuta’s current motivations and abilities as he prepares to encounter Yuji, who appears to be on the run. For fans who are still confused, watching Season 3 will likely be the best way to answer any of their current questions. Unfortunately, that season is still quite far away so a lot of questions are raised in the Jujutsu KaisenThe Season 2 finale, such as the nature of Pseudo-Geto’s final plan and the fate of many characters will remain unanswered until then.
