Anime The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 revealed the opening video after the premiere of the first episode. A preview of episode 1 was released previously, and the episode is streaming on HIDIVE outside of Japan. The opening song is “grayscale dominator” by OxT and you can watch the opening video below:

The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 – Anime opening video
A trailer showcasing the ending theme song “Polaris in the Night” performed by voice actresses Ikumi Hasegawa, Maaya Uchida, Mayu Minami and Ryoko Maekawa was released yesterday, as well as a Introducing Shadow special showcasing the character’s best moments to date. The first season of The Eminence in Shadow debuted on October 5, 2022 and had a total of 20 episodes aired over 2 seasons. The new season includes 12 episodes.
The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) is a Japanese light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa. Enterbrain has been publishing the story with Tozai’s illustrations since 2018. There is also a manga adaptation by Anri Skano, serialized on Kadokawa Shoten. Yen Press is publishing both light novels and manga in English. The second season of the anime will adapt volume 3 of the light novel and you can read the synopsis below:
Deep within the Lawless City lies the Blood Queen, an Ancestor Vampire, sleeping in her coffin for many moons. An expert at getting himself into trouble, Cid should have known better than to go after her… but he longed to get in on the action.
