The Dangers in My Heart voiceover star regrets not being able to greet fans at Anime Expo.
Shun Horie, who voices the main character Kyotaro Ichikawa in the anime, recently expressed regret for missing the convention on his personal Twitter. Using Google Translate, they shared this message with both their Japanese-speaking followers and their English-speaking followers. “Hello dear friends! It’s frustrating that most of the Japanese voice actors are overseas these days, so I’m writing this tweet because I want to feel like I’m in LA even a little bit…I’m sad. Goodbye…”
Anime Expo recently ended on July 4, wrapping up a weekend full of exciting anime events and announcements. Streaming company HIDIVE has highlighted The Dangers in My Heart among the series whose sequels will be featured as part of the service’s 2023-2024 anime lineup. Currently, Season 2 of the popular romantic comedy is slated to premiere in January. The Expo also hosts the world premiere of One Piece’s 1,000th English-dubbed episode, which takes place around the same time. The official venue of the conference is at the GRAMMY Museum a block away.
Danger in my heart Manga and Anime
Norio Sakurai’s The Dangers in My Heart manga launched in Weekly Shonen Champion magazine in March 2018. The series then moved on to Champion Cross before finding its final home at Manga Cross. The story revolves around an unpopular high school student named Kyotaro Ichikawa, whose distorted view of reality leads him to believe he is the tortured protagonist in a psychological thriller. Holding a grudge against his classmates, he often devised many ways to torment them. Even so, he also has a secret crush on Anna Yamada, one of the most popular girls in his school. As time passes, Kyotaro grows closer to Anna, and learns that the cute girl in the class has a strange personality of her own.
Shin-Ei Animation (Crayon Shin-Chan, Doraemon) adaptation of Sakurai’s popular manga premiered in April 2023. Hiroaki Akagi (Treasure Master Takagi-san) is directing the film, while Jukki Hanada is directing the film. (Bloom Into You, Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions) !) wrote the screenplay. Kensuke Ushio (A Silent Voice, Chainsaw Man) is composing the music for the series. Hina Yomiya stars alongside Shun Horie as Anna Yamada. Prior to The Dangers In My Heart, Horie voiced several main characters in several other popular anime series. These include Kazuya Kinoshita from Rent-A-Girlfriend, Tomoki Kakegawa from 2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team, Sariel from The Seven Deadly Sins, and Amethio from Pokemon Horizons.
