A new key visual has been revealed for the upcoming anime The Banished Veteran Lives as He Pleases. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 1, 2024.
Kazuomi Koga (Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible, Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 1 and 2) is directing the anime with Rintarou Ikeda (Insomniacs After School) as writer, Yoshiki Ookusa (The Vampire Dies In No Time) as writer. screenwriter and Saori Hosoda (Phantom of the Idol) is the character designer. Studio Deen and Marvy Jack are responsible for the series’ animation.

The banished former hero living as he pleases also inspired the manga adaptation of Karasumaru on December 24, 2018 on Comic Corona. Eight tankoubon volumes have been released as of November 2023.
