Meaning of silver butterfly
Fan artwork shows Xie Lian walking in the dark, one hand in front of her chest. Little did he know that a beautiful silver butterfly was flying behind him, illuminating his path with a faint shimmer. Donghua became Funimation’s first Chinese animated series and received a positive reception from fans. The release date of Season 2 has been called into question since the voice actor for Xie Lian was arrested for embezzlement. In Donghua, butterflies and Hua Cheng appear in the first two episodes, where a man in a red robe comes to greet Xie Lien as he dresses up as a bride. As soon as Xie Lian used Ruoye, his sentient silk band, to capture the man, he instantly turned into a silver cloud.
