Official website for “Butareba: The Story of a Man Who Turned into a Pig”, the television anime adaptation of the light novel series “Heat the Pig Liver (Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Hiro)” by Takuma Sakai, announced that the 12th and final episode will air on February 5.
Due to programming issues following the delay of the ninth episode, the anime was rescheduled to air later than January 2024. The ninth episode, originally scheduled for December 2, was delayed to December 2. 12. December 9 to ensure quality.

The anime premiered on October 7 on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV and BS11, then aired on YTV, CBC TV and AT-X.
In this isekai story, if you pass out while eating raw pig liver, you will be reincarnated as a pig in a fantasy world.
The main character, an ordinary otaku with no special abilities, is reincarnated as a pig and embarks on an adventure with Jess, a kind girl who can read minds.
Masayuki Takahashi is the anime director at project number 9, with Deko Akao overseeing the series’ scripts and Susumu Watanabe designing the characters. Kenichiro Suehiro and MAYUKO are composing music.
Sakai’s novel series, illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka, began in March 2020 after winning the gold award in the 26th Dengeki Novel Award in 2019.
